The short version
Anchor stores everything on your device. We have no servers. We collect no personal data. Your entries never leave your phone. Ever.
What we collect
Nothing.
Anchor does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising.
Where your data lives
Your ritual entries (thoughts, decisions, anchors) are stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage. They are not synced to any cloud service by Anchor. They are not accessible to us.
If you use iCloud Backup, your device backup (including app data) may be stored by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. This is controlled entirely by your device settings, not by Anchor.
Third-party services
Anchor uses Apple's In-App Purchase system for the one-time lifetime unlock. When you make a purchase, Apple processes the transaction. We receive only a confirmation that the purchase was made — no payment details, no personal information.

Children's privacy
Anchor is designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We will never introduce data collection without making it clearly visible and opt-in.
